We have won the K&H Family Business Excellence Award for the second time
In the space of just one week, our glass company has received two prestigious awards: the K&H Family Business Excellence Awards' jury of distinguished professionals recognized CE Glass' long-term business vision at the Forbes Family Business Gala last night.
The award, which is being announced for the eighth time this year, is presented by K&H Bank to companies with a Hungarian family background and outstanding performance. We also competed in 2022, when we won the trophy in the Environmental Sustainability category. This year, a jury of distinguished business professionals judged our successful long-term strategy worthy of the award.
The competition will award prizes in four categories, with two family businesses in each category. This year, however, the jury did not find any vision worthy of an award in the field of the Successful Long-Term Strategy Award, apart from CE Glass.
The Successful Long-Term Strategy category is awarded to the family business that can ensure the long-term success of the company, its growth and its significant and forward-looking role in the economy/industry.
The K&H Excellence Awards were presented on the evening of 13 September at the Forbes Family Business Gala in Budapest. The imposing trophy made of concrete was accepted by Gusztáv Varga and Melinda Becseiné Varga, representing the current and next generation of our family business.
As the largest glass processing company in the region, our long-term strategy is to ensure that we can serve our growing domestic and foreign clientele as a stable and reliable partner, while at the same time being at the forefront as an employer that provides a living for our 400 colleagues and their families in Szeged and the surrounding area.
We are infinitely grateful to all our colleagues for their tireless work, which contributes to the long-term success of our company on a solid foundation. The K&H Bank award is a clear recognition of their work!
